Iowa Hearing Conservation, Inc. was established by Christine Pernetti, an Occupational Audiologist with decades of experience managing and providing comprehensive Hearing Conservation services across the state of Iowa. Christine managed the Hearing Conservation Department for Unity Point at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for 17 years. Iowa Hearing Conservation, Inc. incorporates that knowledge and experience into a company that provides a wide range of Occupational Hearing services that are professional, flexible and reasonably priced.
Why is Iowa Hearing Conservation unique?
Most mobile hearing testing is done by audiometric technicians. Iowa Hearing Conservation mobile testing is performed by an Occupational Audiologist, with the education and experience that insures reliable results, even with difficult to test individuals.
We test enough people at a time to provide efficient services, but not so many that we are unable to closely monitor each individual test. This allows us to utilize manual hearing testing techniques when needed, which can help insure the most reliable results for employees who have tinnitus, have trouble responding to rapid tone presentation due to an existing hearing loss, or who have experienced a Standard Threshold Shift.
Local services can provide a degree of flexibility in scheduling that may not be available from a provider who is located far away from your place of business.
